Export Quality

Since we started making performance kit the Ultimate community has moved forward in many positive ways. This was reflected in the strength and depth of the Great Britain squad, the only country to enter teams into every division, who then walked away with four golds and three silvers.

We are proud of the level these players perform at and the community they represent. Five years ago Matt Beavan and Colin Shaw were playing in the junior squad and now they are making an impact in the Open division. A player being given the chance to fulfil their potential is something we love to see. With experienced heads such as Andy Vaughan showing a strong commitment to the Junior teams we should see more of this in the future.

The set-up in this country is already held in high esteem, we can boast the best set up in Europe. The players and teams it produces have taken their game across the world and given their rivals a taste of what we do.

EUC 2007 was a showcase for the best that Looklfy have to offer. Bags, Shells, Waterproofs, Caps and Hoodies we had it all. In fact we still do with a stylish logo to match. Why not treat your self to a GB replica shirt? We were pleasantly surprised by the appetite for spectators to by into the GB brand. It was a welcome sight to see the stands occupied by fields of GB shirts.

Why should it only be the football fans with their gelled barnets who get to wear the national colours? Vancouver Baby!

We look forward to this squad setting foot on the pitch in Vancover for the 2008 World Championships, taking with them the desire and passion they showed in Southampton. All the big names will be there and no doubt many to keep an eye on for the future. The preparation begins this month and we wish the players the very best. We believe that Great Britain Ultimate certainly is export quality, in fact how about we leave out ‘Britain’ and just call it Great Ultimate? The competition will know where it comes from.
